Hunter Mann 01:33
Pick apart my brain Then put it back together The right way so that I can think after I want to think after The kids are on fire There all screaming for help now The parents conspire to cut them out Well they got to get out You’re the spark the one who started it all And your wrong and I’m wrong The voices in my head Say that I should go to bed And all your family and friends All get divorces Well that’s kind of fucked up
2.
Cashier 03:45
When you’re feeling down You don’t want me around And you talk in your sleep When no ones listening When your friends are all tied up Doing all the same old stuff You roll into my head And it starts again Well the line never seems to end And the cashier pretends To give a fuck About her job and shitty luck I don’t ever want to go home again
3.
Red 01:56
If red’s the only color Left inside my head I don’t want to deceive you. I’ve seen all of their faces Known not more than names I’ve been here before. I’ve been here once before The rhythms of the people Running round our bed Are much too strong to break. History has started To make much more sense. I am older than you’re wanting. No, its not like before.
4.
Beast 03:45
I saw your house In fields of crimson clovers Over my own Dirty flailing body. Come to see you At risk of cold exposure I drowned in waters calming. Surround my friends with warnings. And after all the people return to their seats Reveal the plans to make all our dreams incomplete. Sleep inside the belly of your favorite beast And twist my arms to rid of the fear while you sleep. Stand inside of a bowl of candied horsies. Eat your way out And find deserving daughters And doctors to tell you The facts regarding summer
5.
Call my home Disturb the distance. I know I could hold my breath but I don’t want to. Purple tongued And full of heavy despair I left to find A way out of an undiscovered life And after all the red had left my mind, Reminded of a cold fluorescent light. I know that somewhere out there We could talk of the weather And drawing no conclusions Of why its warm in November And after weeks of debate I’d lose my place in line again
6.
Glass 03:16
Cover me in glass Cars move past Your eyes begin to bleed I don’t feel a thing Words leak through the cracks Red stains the glass The ringing in my ears Will go away next year You want to touch her But you don’t You want to hurt her But you wont What is this pain Eating my brain My art/arms My art/arms You want to touch her But you don’t You want to hurt her But you wont

about

This release is really special to us. As a group of friends we haven’t made music together since High School, and we are pleased to announce that our good friend and photographer Benjamin Garrett Davis will be pairing his photography with our music for this release. There will be 50 unique prints available only at EP release shows in Nashville (11/15), Houston(11/30), and New Orleans (12/7). These photo prints have been taken and chosen by Ben as a representation of the music on this EP. We thank everyone for their support and for listening to our music.
